The Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAPP) is a CRPNA Payment option that allows registrants to pay a future Registration Fee for an Active Practice Permit using automatic withdrawal.
PAPP subscribers will pay in advance for their Registration Fee in nine (9) monthly withdrawals.
The withdrawal of funds occurs on the 15th day of each month starting in June; if the 15th falls on a weekend, it will be processed on the business day prior. Each monthly withdrawal will be $65.00. The last payment will be withdrawn in February.
The monthly withdrawal amount is based on the annual registration fee of $575.00 plus a $10.00 annual administration fee, divided over nine (9) months. Withdrawn amounts will appear in the registrant's bank account within five (5) days of the College processing the information..

Updating Bank Information
Subscribers may update their banking information during the year by completing a new PAPP Subscription form and attaching a new void cheque or bank information printout from their branch. The updated form can be uploaded through the portal on your CRPNA My RPN Page or mailed to CRPNA's head office.
Cancelling the Payment Plan
If you wish to be removed from the PAPP, a written request must be submitted to CRPNA before the next processing date. You may mail a letter or email your request to crpna@crpna.ab.ca.
Payments Returned NSF
Should the CRPNA be notified by the bank that a registrant's PAPP is NSF or their account has been closed, there will be a $50.00 service charge per transaction. A registrant with two (2) NSF occurrences during the plan period will be removed from the PAPP and refunded their submitted balance, less the outstanding NSF & Administrative charges.
Registrants who have been notified that their bank account will be closed will have ten (10) working days from the date of notification to provide CRPNA with their new account information. If CRPNA is not notified within that time, the registrant will be removed from the PAPP and refunded the balance submitted to date, minus any outstanding NSF and administrative charges.
Once a registrant is removed from the PAPP, the registrant is not entitled to re-enroll in the plan for two (2) payment plan years.
